This site is for users that cannot see properly the Main Site (www.ontology.co) because they have an older browser (desktop or mobile). The content is identical, but the design is easier.
Theory and History of Ontology, created April 13, 2000 at the address www.formalontology.it, moved August 13th 2010 to a new address: www.ontology.co; a mobile version is available when the screen resolution is less than 480 x 500 pixels.
The site contains 283 pages ("History of Logic" 70 pages) and the two sites had more than 15,000 bibliographic references; they are best viewed with a recent version of one of the following browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Maxthon, Opera, Safari, UC Browser.
There are two sections, currently under development, for Italian and French readers (see Pages in Language other than English), that will contain bibliographical information and references to works published in these languages.
The site is available in five different location (the content is identical):
Ebook and PDF version: www.ontology.mobi (the entire website can be downloaded in .epub or .mobi format, or as a searchable PDF file)
For readers with older browsers another website with an easier menu is available:
Please note that only Internet Explorer version 11 is supported by Microsoft after January 12, 2016 (see "Stay up-to-date with Internet Explorer").
I created these websites to ensure to my readers the best performance and accessibility everywhere in the world.
If you want to cite or link a page of my site please use the main address www.ontology.co because the mirror sites will not be indexed by the Search Engines to avoid duplicated content.
